About Me
About Me My name is Christian Torralba, I'm 24 years old, and I live in Portland, Oregon. I am currently working at Intel to help with the automation of a lot of the Client Computing Group (CCG) processes.
In my early years I was quite interested in computers, always playing games and super interested in older consoles. I grew up playing on classic games with my friends, as well as being a huge fan of the outdoors.
I began playing piano as a child and won multiple festivals. In middle school I started on the Clairinet and quickly switched to the Bari-Sax, which I played in Jazz band the rest of my middle school and highschool years. My freshman year of highschool I jokingly asked my teacher, "Can I switch to Bassoon", as I thought it looked and sounded funny, but unfortunately he forced me to. There I began getting quite competitive, I made it to All-State band every year and placed 7th in the State my Junior year of highschool and 5th in the State my senior year of highschool. Additionally, I joined the Metropolitan Youth Symphony (MYS) and played with them for 3 years, where I won a concerto competition and got to perform the Weber Concerto with the band.
